eProduction Solutions, Inc. Announces Acquisition of Case Services, Inc.
Kingwood, TX, February 4, 2005
eProduction Solutions, Inc. (eP), a Weatherford company (NYSE: WFT) and leader in automation and optimization solutions for production oil and gas fields, announced today that it has acquired the assets of Case Services, the makers of LOWIS™ and csLIFT™ software. This is a part of eP's strategy to provide complete oil and gas field solutions for production management, automation, and optimization.
eP Expands Strategy
The acquisition of Case Services provides eP customers with a one-stop solution for hardware and software for real-time production optimization. The two companies have partnered together to provide solutions since eP’s inception in 2001.
Case Services’ flagship product, LOWIS, is a comprehensive software tool for managing and analyzing the workflow processes of a production oil and gas field. Dharmesh Mehta, president of eP, states, “Until someone installs and uses LOWIS in their field, they cannot grasp the efficiency and comprehensiveness that it provides. The capabilities of the program allow anyone who needs it, instant access to pertinent information for better and quicker decision making.”
The merging of Case Services’ product line with eP’s existing field-proven solutions will accelerate the company’s long-standing strategy to provide comprehensive total field automation and optimization solutions, including real-time monitoring, controlling, designing, and analysis of producing oil and gas wells and facilities. Case Services’ products will fall under the eP banner and be known as Case Products.
