eProduction Solutions, Inc. Announces Acquisition of Brisco Engineering
Kingwood, TX, August 21, 2003
eProduction Solutions (eP), leader in optimization solutions for production oil and gas fields, announced today that it has acquired certain assets of Brisco Engineering, the makers of ‘Wellcon’ and ‘ROVCON,’ Subsea well control systems. This is a part of eP’s strategy to provide complete oil and gas operation solutions for production control, management, automation, and optimization. This transaction closed on Tuesday, August 11, 2003. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed, but eP immediately accepted responsibility of the assets of Brisco Engineering from its parent company, Vosper Thornycroft, Ltd. U.K.
eP Expands Subsea Technology
The acquisition of Brisco provides eP customers with advanced technology for subsea and topside control systems. Brisco has designed and engineered Surface Systems for onshore, offshore platform, and FPSO based Wellhead Control and Safety Systems for in excess of thirty years and has a worldwide client base. Systems may be configured as standard design packages or customs built to accommodate specific environmental operating conditions including:
Subsea control systems using advanced electronics
Multi Well Panels with Dual or single string wells Separated SSSC returns Fusible loop systems Breakglass loop system Status indication Remote Control
