CEO Three Plus Plunger-Lift Controller Overview
eP’s CEO Three Plus plunger-lift controller is designed to meet remote requirements by using ultra low-power electronic technology. The CEO Three Plus controller's design incorporates all the proven SCADA and remote-terminal-unit (RTU) functions of other wellsite intelligence products, making it the most complete and advanced plunger-lift controller available in today's marketplace. The controller records data from the 50 previous cycles, including on cycle pressures, off cycle pressures and arrival times.
The CEO Three Plus controller offers a broad range of control mechanisms: time-based, using system pressure inputs; pressure-based; single-, dual- and triple-valve; and flow rate and differential pressure.
Applications of the CEO Three Plus Plunger-Lift Controller
- Simple plunger-lift operations
- Basic pressure-based plunger lift and intermittent control
- Entry-level automation projects
- Stand-alone optimization
- Rod-pump optimization
- Soap-injection optimization
CEO Three Plus Plunger-Lift Controller Features, Advantages, & Benefits
MODBUS™ communication protocol enables the controller to poll and centralize information from local smart peripherals, reducing the complexity and cost of wellsite configuration.
- A single radio retrieves all necessary information from the wellsite, reducing operating expenses.
- Simple controls and settings allow for easy configuration, minimizing operator error.
- Single-integrated-package design withstands harsh environments, providing superior control from even remote locations.
- The controller can interface with most host systems, using radio (licensed spread spectrum and Ethernet), satellite and cellular channels for communication that use industry-standard protocols.
- On cycle of differential pressure control can be initiated by a given pressure or by a differential between any two pressures. Off cycle can be initiated by any pressure, by a differential between two pressures, or by a differential across an orifice indicative of flow.
- Time-, pressure- and flow-based control logic provides flexibility, real-time optimization and control.
- Local display allows for field interface capability.
