Latching Solenoid Valve Assembly Highlights

Precise control of diaphragm type valve

Three-way, normally closed solenoid valve

Can be remotely mounted

Latching Solenoid Valve Assembly Overview

eProduction Solutions’ (eP’s) latching solenoid valve is designed to provide precise control of a diaphragm type valve for control of air, inert gasses, water, oils, and many other media. It is a three-way normally closed solenoid valve.

The latching solenoid valve assembly is mounted apart from the controller enabling its placement wherever it is needed. This assembly is useful in sour gas applications since the vented gas is nowhere near the controller.

eP’s latching solenoid valve assembly is mounted to the pressure tubing lines. When mounting the solenoid enclosure, ensure that the wiring conduit and vent tube do not put strain on the pressure tubing lines.

In the de-energized state media entering through the in port is held while media from the cylinder port is allowed to exit through the exhaust port. When energized the in port media travels through and exits at the cylinder port and the exhaust port is closed. Typical uses for this flow pattern are air cylinder applications.

Although coils can be provided for pulse voltage as low as 6-Vdc, a corresponding higher pulse current is required. Coils with various resistances can be provided to accommodate customer’s electronic circuitry.
